ICD is co-hosting an event with German Chamber of Commerce regarding Intellectual Property Protection on March 15, 2012. The presentation will begin with an overview of the Chinese legal system, with particular emphasis on the Chinese Courts. Then, the speaker will describe the Intellectual Property Framework in China to highlight possible actions that can be taken. Afterwards, a highlighting of some common IP issues and tips on how to protect one’s IP rights in China.

ICD is organizing a trip to Anbo for skiing, snowboarding and hot spring over the weekend of the 18^th – 19^th February.  Anbo is about a 2.5 hour drive from the centre of Dalian and is one of the best locations for skiing and snowboarding in Liaoning Province.  There is a natural hot spring located next to the ski run, providing a perfect combination of exercise and relaxation for ICD members.
