ICD cordially invites you to its Fall Golf Classic tournament at the Pine Tree Golf Club. The event will consist of 18 holes of golf – best ball format; teams will consist of four (4) players paired by handicaps to ensure balanced competition; players of all levels can participate. Team and individual prizes will be awarded. Rental clubs are available for an additional fee.

      Following golf, please join us for a leisurely buffet on the clubhouse upper deck, a cash bar (beer, wine and spirits) will be available. Guests, friends or spouses, who wish to attend the buffet, may arrive at the upper deck at 16:00 to enjoy drinks and watch the golfers finish their round. The buffet will begin approximately 30 minutes after the competition has completed (at 17:30).

Dalian is known for its delicious fresh seafood.  Executive Chef Jek Tan will prepare Fresh Seafood Potato, Chilled Dalian Abalone with Julienne Vegetables in Seafood Broth and Stir-fried Pork and Conpoy.  Come and enjoy this session with us!

Third Culture Kids (TCKs) refers to someone who, as a child, has spent a significant period of time in one or more cultures other than his or her own, thus integrating elements of those cultures and their own birth culture, into a third culture. Since the term was coined by sociologist Ruth Hill Useem in the 1960's, a great deal of study and research has been done on TCKs.

  We will look at who is a TCK, how we as parents should support our children who are TCKs currently, when we move to our next country, or when we repatriate to our country of origin. Knowing that many families in Dalian are raising TCKs, this will also be a wonderful opportunity to share experiences and ideas with each other.

Come and enjoy the Nikko Hotel's buffet presented by their new culinary consultant Chef Martin Pfister! His specialties are Italian cuisine selections. For this buffet there will be a variety of selections available for your enjoyment.

“Chinese Labor Laws” Presented by Adam Livermore

This presentation will focus on the new labor contract law adopted in China since 2008 and the effect it has on foreign invested corporations operating here.  In addition to the presentation explaining the law in detail there will be an opportunity for a Q&A session and discussion.
