The Business Group of the ICD announces the first of a regular series of meetings, "ICD Business Networking", an event aimed at providing a place for expat business people to informally introduce themselves, network, and exchange information in a relaxed setting. We hope this will also be a time that newcomers to the Dalian business community can be welcomed and begin making the connections necessary to operate successfully in this area. On the last Friday of each month foreign business people will be invited to gather at a local venue for networking and discussion.

For the most part these meetings will be held at public locations and open to all with foreign business interests who wish to meet other business expats. From time to time an event may be hosted by an ICD member at their place of business and on these occassions attendance may have to be limited to ICD members and visitors on a first-come/first-served basis.

For the inaugural ICD Business Networking arrangements have been made to gather at the newly renovated pub on the 8th floor of the Swissotel on April 25 beginning at 6:00 pm. As this is an unhosted open event in a public location, a cash bar policy is in effect; however, as the ICD has the honor of being the first group to utilize the newly renovated pub, the Swissotel will offer happy hour beverage prices. Bar drinks are buy 1 get 2, and Snow Brand draught beer - two for 17.25. They will also offer a complimentary sampler buffet from the Pub menu from 18:00 - 19:00
